Site Purpose

The purpose of this site is to explain “how to” do things in IT

Site History

After working ten years in IT, I have looked back and realised that I probably do internet research several times a day, as most people do. I often discover what I am looking for by gathering information spread across at least two to four sites.
I write my own documentation for the discovery, and put it on which ever internal wiki I am currently working with. However it has become more apparent to me that it would make sense to make a lot of this documentation public, so that I can give back to the community that I have used for research and use it as a reference going forward, saving me the need to double up on work.
I have also created a respective Git Hub account that contains scripts, programs and software that I have created to make my day-to-day tasks easier.

A good way to understand computers is to anthropomorphize the concept of a computer
